Scholarships.

The African Dream Foundation Scholarships enhance and nourish the capabilities that lie within Africa's youth, particularly those experiencing financial barriers to education and skills development. Our success is defined by creating an environment and providing the resources for the next generation of high potential leaders to collectively influence accelerated social and economic change at all levels. The African Dream Scholarship aims to position financial and in-kind support in a way that complements our strategic themes of The African Dream Foundation:

We improve the capacity of young people to foster inclusive participation in the formal labour market and promote innovation.

African Dream Foundation Scholarship

AfricanDream X Foundation Scholarships

This is the cornerstone scholarship, which provides financial aid to top performing students experiencing financial hardship to undertake an undergraduate degree at a partner university.

African Dream STEM Scholarship

AfricanDream X STEM Scholarships

This scholarship provides financial aid to top performing students experiencing financial hardship to undertake a undergraduate degree in science, technology, engineering or maths.

African Dream Honours Scholarship

AfricanDream X Honours Scholarships

This scholarship provides financial aid to top performing students experiencing financial hardship to undertake an Honours degree at a partner university in STEM courses.

 

How to Apply

Due to the volume of applications received, we may not be able to attend to all queries. The following is a step-by-step guide of how to prepare and apply for the scholarship. Further information can be found in our Scholarship Policy which can be downloaded by following the link at the bottom of the page. All applications must be submitted via one of the links provided above. No applications will be considered via other channels.

Step 1: Research and enrol

Before you apply, research related courses and seek career advice. Research our partner universities, and see if you are eligible for admission, as this is a seperate process. We will only consider applicants who have began or completed enrolment.

Step 2: ELIGIBILITY

Once you have decided the courses you wish to apply for, search our available scholarships. Carefully read the eligibility criteria to decide whether you are eligible and consider the information you will need to complete the application in full.

Step3: Apply

Complete the online application, and attached all the relevant documents and information. We will only consider one application per person. Sufficient time has been provided to ensure you are able to take your time preparing and completing your application.

Step 4: Submit

Students from rural or remote areas are encouraged to apply
for a stipend allowance during the application, before final submission. Submit your application on or before the closing date. No applications will be considered after the closing date.
